This resource, designed to help patients self-manage pain, has been translated into numerous languages. Try The Pain Toolkit website – selecting ‘tools’ from the menu to view the 12 key individual elements of pain self-management online, or ‘shop’ to order a booklet version.
Understanding pain is important for patients with musculoskeletal conditions as misconceived beliefs can increase the severity and impact of pain on the person and make them less likely to recover.
